Sichuan Rare Magnetic

Manufacturing

Ten steps. One factory.

We control the full chain — from melting the alloy to packing finished rotor assemblies — at our facility in Mianyang, Sichuan.

Process

From alloy to assembly.

Compression-bonded magnet production and the subsequent injection molding of rotor assemblies are separate stages.

Magnetic powder

  1. 01MeltingRaw materials are melted into an NdFeB alloy.
  2. 02Rapid quenchingThe molten alloy is melt-spun and rapidly solidified.
  3. 03CrystallizationHeat treatment develops the alloy microstructure.
  4. 04Powder productionMaterial is processed into bonded NdFeB magnetic powder.

Bonded magnets

  1. 05Powder and binder mixingMagnetic powder is combined with binder.
  2. 06Compression molding and curingThe mixture is pressed into shape and cured.
  3. 07Surface treatmentGrinding, vibratory chamfering, spray coating and electrophoretic coating.
  4. 08Inspection and magnetizationMagnets are inspected and magnetized.

Rotor assemblies

  1. 09Injection moldingFinished magnets are integrated into rotor assemblies.
  2. 10Final inspection, packing and storageAssemblies are inspected, packed and stored for shipment.

Current capacity

10 millionpieces per month.

Phase II facilities are ready for use. According to market demand, capacity can expand to 15 million pieces per month.
